Esther 4:14
For Such a Time
For if thou altogether holdest thy peace at this time, then shall there
enlargement and
deliverance arise to the Jews from another place; but thou and thy father’s
house shall
be destroyed: and who knoweth whether thou art come to the kingdom for such a
time
as this? Esther 4:14
Are you doing
what God desires of you? If not, He will accomplish His desires through
someone
else. However, have you considered the fact that He has put you where you are
for “such a time as this”? We need to realize He is in control and has a plan, a
purpose for
our lives and no
matter what happens we need to be obedient and do what He desires of us.

Ecclesiastes 12:13-14
Final Conclusion
“Let us hear the conclusion of the whole
matter: Fear God, and keep His commandments:
for this is the whole duty of man. For God shall bring every work into judgment,
with every
secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.”
Ecclesiastes 12:13-14
Two sentences. All
of man’s responsibility, instructions for life on earth, and how to plan
for eternity, nicely summed up. “Fear God, and keep His commandments.” In
this verse,
the phrase “Fear God” means reverence, obey, respect, worship, and be in awe of
His indescribable greatness. The simply explained duty of all mankind, “Fear
God, and keep
His commandments.” Why? “For God shall bring every work into judgment.”
All mankind
will be judged according to their works. Everything we have ever thought or done
will be
exposed. The only way anyone will escape the guilty verdict on that day is if
their name is
written in the Book of Life. Final conclusion? “Fear God, and keep His
commandments: for
this is the whole duty of man.”

Romans 12:3
Have Pride or Be Proud
“For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not
to think
of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according
as God hath
dealt to every man the measure of faith.”
Romans 12:3
As we walk through life
we find many things to be “proud” of, like what we have accomplished
or goals we have reached. In my opinion that kind of pride is okay and at times
even necessary. The trouble is finding the balance between having pride in what
we do and being proud. I think
the answer can be found in Romans 12:3b, “but to think soberly, according as
God hath dealt
to every man the measure of faith.” I believe the way we can keep from being
proud is to look
at our selves honestly and seriously (soberly) in the mirror.

1 Corinthians 10:13
Resisting Temptation
There hath no temptation taken
you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful,
who will not suffer you to be tempted above that you are able; but will with the
temptation
also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.
I Corinthians 10:13
Take comfort, friends, for in our weakness He is
strong, and in temptation, He provideth a
way of escape. This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil
the lust of the flesh.
Galatians 5:16 So let us walk in the Spirit and not
in the flesh, in victory, not defeat. CN
