Thy righteousness is
like the great mountains; Thy judgments are a great deep: O Lord, Thou
preservest man and beast.
How excellent is Thy lovingkindness, O God! therefore the children of
men put their trust under the shadow of Thy wings.
Psalms 36:6, 7

But ask now the beasts, and they shall teach thee; and the fowls of the
air, and they shall tell thee: Or speak to the earth, and it shall teach
thee: and the fishes of the sea shall declare unto thee. Who knoweth not
in all these that the Hand of the Lord hath wrought this? In Whose Hand
is the soul of every living thing, and the breath of all mankind.
Job
12:7-10
Montana Wildlife
Whether you are a hunter, nature enthusiast, photographer, memory maker,
or inquisitive student of the great outdoors, Montana offers abundant
best in a lifetime experiences and opportunities for those
seeking to learn more about and connect with wildlife. Remember to keep
your binoculars, camera and journal within reach. You never know who you
might meet or what you might see in Montana.
As the hart panteth after the water brooks, so my soul panteth after
Thee, O God. Psalms 42:1
Montana is home to the largest migratory elk herd in the United
States. Actually, the elk, deer, and antelope populations outnumber
the humans in Montana and no state has as many different species of
mammals as Montana. This wild west frontier is home to some pretty
amazing wildlife...we are thankful these majestic animals are
willing to share Montana's great outdoors with our family.
Many amazing facts and life lessons can be learned from Montana
wildlife if you watch, listen and try to learn.
The grizzly bear, the largest and most feared carnivore in America,
is the official state animal of Montana.
Raccoons, badgers, American mink, weasels, wolverines, skunks,
snowshoe hare, jackrabbits, cottontails, pikas, shrews, beavers,
squirrels, chipmunks, and porcupines are but a few of the small
mammals that live in Montana. Watching their hilarious antics
are a favorite pastime of our family and friends. It is amazing
how much personality a little fur ball can have wrapped up
inside them. It is also amazing how much trouble they can get
into or cause in a very short time. Learning to live with and
among wildlife requires a lot of patience, humility, and
understanding. It is definitely an ever learning experience and
a great opportunity to grow in our ability to know and
understand nature and how it works. We have a lot of fun
interacting with our little wildlife friends and treasure the
moments we are able to engage and connect with their inquisitive
natures.

Few places
on earth showcase the handiwork of God's creation and the splendor of His incredible
creatures as beautifully as Montana. Montana...the last
best place, the Mount N Treasure state, God's Country.
We are blessed to call Montana home.
