Have not I commanded thee? Be strong
and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be
thou dismayed:for the LORD thy God is with thee
whithersoever thou goest.
Joshua 1:9
The steps of a good man are ordered
by the LORD:
and he delighteth in his way.
Though
he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down: for the LORD upholdeth him with
His hand. I have
been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed
begging bread.
He is ever merciful, and lendeth; and his seed is blessed.
Depart from evil,
and do good; and dwell for evermore.
For the LORD loveth judgment, and forsaketh not
His saints; they are preserved for ever: but the seed of the wicked shall be cut off.
The
righteous shall inherit the land, and dwell therein for ever.
The mouth of the righteous
speaketh wisdom, and his tongue talketh of
judgment. The law of his God
is in his heart;
none of his steps shall slide.
Psalms 37:23-31
Though I walk in the midst of
trouble, Thou wilt revive me: Thou shalt stretch forth Thine
hand against the
wrath of mine enemies, and Thy right hand shall save me.
Psalms 138:7
For a just man falleth seven times,
and riseth up again: but the wicked shall fall into mischief.
Proverbs 24:16
And even to your old age I am he;
and even to hoar hairs will I carry you: I have made,
and I will
bear; even I will carry, and will deliver you.
Isaiah 46:4
Come
unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
Take My yoke
upon you, and learn of Me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.
For My yoke is easy, and My burden is light.
Matthew 11:28-30
Blessed
be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,
the Father of mercies, and the
God of all comfort;
Who
comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort
them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God.
2 Corinthians 1:3-4
And He said unto me, My
grace is sufficient for thee: for My strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities,
that the power of Christ
may rest upon me. 2 Corinthians 12:9
I can do all things
through Christ which strengtheneth me.
Philippians 4:13
