Chocolate Kiss Recipe
a touch of home

Ingredients:
Chocolate morsels or candy bar
Aluminum foil
Ribbon or paper for note
Fillers if desired

Instructions:
1. Find a funnel the size of the kiss you would like to make and plug the end. Spray or grease funnel.

2. Melt chocolate in a double boiler. Be careful not to scorch or burn.

3. Pour chocolate into funnel with plugged side down and allow to cool until firmly set.

4. Tap the kiss on the counter to make it come out of the funnel.

5. Wrap in foil. Decorate with a ribbon or love note.

6. For kiss variations, stir fillers (caramel, nuts, dried fruits, white chocolate, peanut butter, peppermint, rice crispy cereal, coconut, butterscotch, your favorite filler) into your melted chocolate before pouring it into the funnel.

7. This recipe will also work in other molds. Have fun and be creative.

Love beareth all things.

"Salute one another
with an holy kiss.
The churches of Christ salute you."

Romans 16:16a

Blessings to you!

Loving God

"If you love me, keep my commandments. John 14:15

Loving others

How do I show love?

"Charity suffereth long,
and is kind;
charity envieth not;
charity vaunteth not itself,
is not puffed up,
Doth not behave itself unseemly,
seeketh not her own,
is not easily provoked,
thinketh no evil;
Rejoiceth not in iniquity,
but rejoiceth in the truth; Beareth all things,
believeth all things,
hopeth all things,
endureth all things.
Charity never faileth:"
1 Corinthians 13:4-8a

Why should I show love?

"Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God. He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love." 1 John 4:7, 8

Do I show love?

"Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends." John 15:13

Valentine's Day
a celebration of the Love of God

A Love So Amazing

A love so amazing
A love so divine
Jesus, God's Son, was crucified
He came to this earth for you and for me
As a living sacrifice for the world to see
His life without sin paid our own penalty
For He settled our debt and set believing souls free

A love so amazing
A love so divine
Jesus, God's Son, is truly alive
He conquered death's chains victoriously
And has made us joint heirs in His family
To love and to give and to serve willingly
For now and throughout all eternity

A love so amazing
A love so divine
Jesus, God's Son, reigns on high
He's building a home for those of His own
With crowns to reward the works we have sown
As we kneel in worship before His Throne
Our King, our Redeemer, our Cornerstone

A love so amazing
A love so divine
Jesus, God's Son,
I am wholly Thine.

The Greatest Valentine

    The greatest valentine
    Was sent from above
In the form of a baby
    From the Father of love.
    Christ grew in God’s wisdom
    As He walked among men,
    Offering His life freely
    To save us from sin.
    His eternal gift of love
    Reaches out to every soul,
    Offering love, hope and forgiveness,
Seeking to make each person whole.
    Will you accept God’s valentine,
And let Him fill your heart today?
Simply ask Jesus for His gift,
And He will come in to stay.

Many waters cannot quench love, neither can the floods
drown it: if a man would give all the substance of his house
for love, it would utterly be contemned.

Song of Solomon 8:7
