The name of the LORD
is a strong tower:
the righteous runneth
into it, and is safe.
Proverbs 18:10
But ye shall receive power,
after that the Holy Ghost
is come upon you:and ye
shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem,
and in all Judea,
and in Samaria,
and unto the uttermost
part of the earth.
Acts 1:8
Missions Month is September.
Find out how you can touch
a missionary this September through your local Church.
My feet, my hands, my mouth, my eyes
Are yours, O Lord, until I die.
I have left my home, my land, my life
To go abroad amid much strife.
With turmoil around and threats about
Your Message and Love I continue to shout.
My life is not mine, but yours, my Master.
I serve you today and here ever after.
When I wake each day, I stop to pray
God grant me strength to follow You today.
Remove all fear and make me bold.
Whether hungry, tired, lonely or cold,
Steady my feet to walk Your walk.
Guide my hands in Your Work. Teach my mouth to talk.
Blind my eyes to see only Your Will -
For my life has one purpose: Your Plan to fulfill.
Whether waking or sleeping, as each hour is passed,
Help me plant a seed that will eternally last.
Whether on the field or home for furlough,
Let me be Your Light so that others may know
God's Message is simple and eternally clear.
It is up to each person to listen and hear.
God sent His Son to live and to die,
Conquering death as He rose toward the sky.
He paid for our sins so we might live
Because He loved us enough our sins to forgive.
As Your Word is proclaimed across the earth
Let a revival be born and souls be re-birthed.
I thank you again for the honor to serve You.
I pray to this call I will forever be true.
The life of a missionary is truly blessed.
The calling is great. There is no time to rest.
But for twenty-four hours of each new day
I experience Your Love in fresh new ways.
The eyes of a missionary see amazing things
For we never know what miracle a new day will bring.
